Cinzia Franceschini studied Italian and English literature at the University of Venice and Stockholm and worked as a journalist. At 25 she decided that when she grew up she would be an illustrator and started drawing again. Now she works as a freelance in Rome and when she is not drawing, she reads, dives underwater and dedicates herself to Le Musae, an online space and a podcast for freelancers that she co-founded at the beginning of this year. She collaborate with companies, newspapers, publishers and private customers in order to transform complex ideas into simple and poetic images. She loves words at least as much as illustrations and her works are often inspired by the poems and books she reads.
